Terrorists Strike Sabuwa Local Government Area in Katsina State, Killing One and Abducting 37
In a late-night attack on Tuesday, terrorists operating in the forest area of Sabuwa Local Government Area in Katsina State carried out a deadly assault. The attack resulted in the killing of one person and the abduction of 37 others.
According to a source in the area, the incident took place in the Yarkaka Gazari and Yar Lageada Maibakko wards. In Yarkaka Gazari ward, 17 individuals were abducted, while in Yar Lagwada, 20 people were taken away. Tragically, one person lost their life during the attack.
The security situation in Katsina State remains a concern, as incidents of violence and terrorism continue to threaten the lives and safety of residents. The authorities are urged to take immediate and decisive action to address the growing security challenges in the region.
