Enugu Police Arrest Suspects For conspiracy, Vandalism, And Unlawful possession Of Firearm And Ammunition

Enugu State Police arrested four suspects for crimes like housebreaking and gun possession..

This was announced in a statement signed by DSP Daniel Ndukwe, the State Public Relations Officer, and uploaded on the command’s X (previously Twitter) profile.

“Police Operatives of Enugu State have arrested four (4) male victims involved in various offenses of conspiracy, housebreaking, vandalism, and unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition,” according to the statement.

Five people were rescued and three guns, a mini truck, a laptop, phones, household items, and goods were recovered during the arrest and other operations guided by credible information..

Following the receipt of complaints and credible information, police recovered a locally fabricated pistol loaded with a live cartridge from fleeing suspects who attempted to abduct their male victim to an unknown destination, while three others, Igwe, Solomon, 25, Ikenna Aniekwe, 34, and Obasi Onyedika, thirty-two, were arrested for conspiracy, vandalism, and housebreaking.

The accused will be arraigned in court after the investigations are completed, according to the police.
