The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) has learned that a 34-year old woman has been tragically crushed to death in Benin after a collapsed Overhead Tank in a neighbour’s new building. Joy Amadi was in her room helping to shell melons when the tank collapsed, according to a family member who spoke to NAN at the scene.. The mother said that her daughter had not gone to work because of her free periods. The deceased’s mother described her daughter as kind, humble, and hardworking, and said that she had helped the family pay for their house rent. The mother added that her daughter’s death had left a “vacuum” in the family, which would be difficult to fill.
