Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State recently met with top security officials, including the Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Army Staff, and Chief of Air Staff, to discuss the prevailing security concerns in the region. This meeting reflects the governor’s dedication to forming strong partnerships with security agencies in order to tackle present and emerging security threats across Kaduna State.
During the meeting, Governor Uba and the security chiefs engaged in detailed discussions regarding the security challenges faced not only by Kaduna State but also by neighboring states. While acknowledging the progress made in the fight against insecurity, Governor Uba emphasized the importance of consolidating these achievements.
Moreover, Governor Uba expressed the full support and collaboration of the state government to enable the security agencies in fulfilling their crucial role of safeguarding the lives and properties of the citizens. He also took the opportunity to extend warm congratulations and best wishes from the government and people of Kaduna State to the service chiefs on their well-deserved appointments.
The service chiefs reciprocated the Governor’s sentiments by assuring him of their unwavering commitment to collaborating with the Kaduna State government and its people. They pledged to intensify efforts to dismantle criminal networks, such as bandits and kidnappers, and restore peace and security to troubled communities within the state.
