The Kebbi State Police Command said yesterday that two trucks of marijuana and 7,500 cartons of live ammunition worth N6 million had been confiscated in Kebbi State.
Three people were arrested by the Police Command in connection with illegal items at the Tsamiyya border in Bagudo Local Government Area, as reported by Nafiu Abubakar..
Emmanuel Chukwuma from Abia State, Kanta Bisa from the Republic of Ghana, and Shola Olufon from Ondo State are the suspects in the first truck, according to him. They were in transit from Ghana through Benin and Tsamiyya town in Kebbi with the intention to continue the journey to Lagos as the final destination.

Abdulrazak Agboola of Oyo State, the second driver, stated he was given N200,000 to drive the truck carrying 7,500 boxes of live cartridges to Lagos. Chukwuma, the accused mastermind, said he was hired and paid N400,000 by someone in Ghana.
