Ogun State Police Successfully Apprehend Infamous Motorbike Snatchers

Notorious motorbike snatchers in Ogun State have been apprehended and given a rare face-lift by the Ogun State Community Social Orientation & Safety Corps, also known as So-Safe Corps. The agency announced the arrest following a report filed by Mr. Lawal Kazeem, who stated that his motorbike, with the license plate JBD 933 VZ, had been stolen from his farmlands in Abapawa Community, Ijebu Ode Local Government Area.

On July 19, two middle-aged men, identified as Okoro Ogudu, alias ‘Chi Boy’, aged 25, and Okechukwu Eze, aged 28, both residents of Ibadan, Oyo State, were spotted at the location where the stolen motorbike had been parked. Sensing danger, one of the suspects brandished a cutlass, prompting the victim to seek help from the So-Safe Office at Itoro.

Reacting swiftly to the distress call, So-Safe Corps officers immediately sprang into action, successfully arresting the suspects and ensuring the victim’s safety. The brave intervention of the So-Safe Corps has dealt a major blow to the activities of motorbike snatchers in the area and serves as a warning to other criminals of the strong security presence in Ogun State.
