
The Gombe State Police Command has announced the imposition of restrictions on movement between the hours of 12 am and 5 am, effective February 7, 2025.
The Gombe Police Public Relations Officer, Buhari Abdullahi, made this disclosure in a statement to newsmen, saying that the decision was made in response to intelligence reports indicating threats to the safety and security of the citizens in the state.
He said the command is committed to curbing the threats, thereby placing restrictions on movements between the hours of 12am and 5am starting from 7th February 2025.
Abdullahi said the police command is committed to prioritising the safety and security of citizens, adding that members of the public should cooperate with the police in making the state a safe place to thrive.
He advised parents and guardians to caution their wards, as any violations of the restriction will not be tolerated.
